Another Bright Idea in Recycling

I'm excited to add a new product to Beyond Junk today; we've had salvaged lights before, from computers, miscellaneous electronics, and decorative strands.

But these are just too cool to post without a backstory. As a service electrician, my brother-in-law is responsible for upgrades as well as maintenance and new installations.

These salvaged light bulbs - I have 88 in total - come from an old fire alarm alert panel in a dated apartment building. They were originally installed between 1984 and 1985 (exact dates are stamped on each circuitboard), making these little emergency lights right around 30 years old.
